A free, no-pressure beginner's guide
A simple beginner's guide to finding an online income path that actually fits YOU — including options where you never have to show your face.
No huge following required to start learning. No pretending you'll get rich overnight. Just real options explained simply.

My story
I'm Krysten. I'm 41 and I've spent most of my adult life working in healthcare.
When I first started exploring ways to earn online, I honestly didn't realize how many different options existed.
I thought you needed thousands of followers.
I thought you had to be an influencer.
And half the terminology made absolutely no sense to me. 😂
I'm still learning too — and that's exactly why I wanted to make this simple.
You don't need to figure out your forever plan today.
You just need to figure out your next step.
Start here
There isn't a wrong answer. Tap the one that feels closest, and I'll take you to a good place to begin.
Explore the options
Open anything you're curious about. You don't need to read—or try—all eight.
UGC stands for User-Generated Content. Brands need everyday-looking photos and videos showing their products in real life. And no—you don't always have to talk to the camera.
You notice product details, enjoy simple video, or want to create without becoming the face of a brand.
A realistic first step
Pick something you already own and practice making one 15–30 second product video.
UGC creators produce content for brands to use on the brand's own pages or ads. A huge personal following isn't necessarily required because the content itself—not your audience size—may be what the brand needs.
You enjoy explaining products or creating relatable photos and videos.
A realistic first step
Learn what a basic UGC portfolio looks like and practice creating a sample.
Legitimate Amazon-related opportunities may include eligible creator or affiliate programs and product-focused content. Each has its own approval process, rules, and disclosure requirements.
You love useful product demos, comparisons, and helping people make informed choices.
Be cautious of social posts claiming anyone can simply get paid to write Amazon reviews. Always use legitimate programs and follow Amazon's current rules and disclosure requirements.
A realistic first step
Practice creating a short, genuinely useful demonstration of a product you already own.
Create a digital resource around a problem you understand and market it without necessarily becoming a public-facing influencer.
You like organizing information, making things, or turning what you know into a useful resource.
A realistic first step
Write down three small problems you've already learned how to solve.
You recommend a product or resource using an affiliate link. If an eligible purchase happens through your link, you may earn a commission according to that program's terms.
You naturally recommend products and enjoy creating genuinely helpful content.
Dropping links isn't the strategy. Helpful content + the right audience + trust matters.
A realistic first step
Choose one product you genuinely use and brainstorm five helpful pieces of content around the problem it solves.
You may have seen people online talking about getting paid to write letters. Different direct-mail and promotional programs may exist, but the rules, eligibility, costs and compensation structures vary.
You prefer structured, offline or behind-the-scenes work and are comfortable researching details carefully.
Before joining anything, find out:
A realistic first step
Research the actual company or program and read its official terms rather than relying only on a social-media explanation.
Offer a practical skill to a business or creator who needs reliable support.
You'd rather help a business with useful tasks than build a public-facing brand.
A realistic first step
Ask yourself: What am I already pretty good at that someone else hates doing?
Content creation can eventually support opportunities such as UGC, affiliate marketing, digital products, or services. Your content doesn't have to be perfect or highly polished to be helpful.
You enjoy teaching, sharing, or connecting with people around a topic you care about.
A realistic first step
Choose one type of person you'd genuinely enjoy helping or connecting with.
Your quick match
Save or screenshot the one that feels most like you.
